I started photography as a hobby about 3 years back. My first camera was a Sony(DSC H1).

So here is what I'm planning to do....
I'll post a series of assignments each of which will be targeted in improving a specific photography skill. I'll be posting a new assignment every week or two. I'll be doing these assignments myself and i'll post my experience in here as soon as I complete the assignment. Also you can see the photographs i have taken from my flicker account(I'm planning to set up a new one specially for this blog). The first few assignments will be fairly simple ones. Later on we can move to more difficult ones.
Assignment 1- Taking an uncluttered photograph
Whatever photograph you are taking this week make sure that you will try your best to exclude unwanted elements from your photograph. To avoid clutter you should know what clutter is. Anything that does not compliment the main subject(s) of your photograph is clutter. Clutter takes the attention of the viewer from the central subject. So you got the basic idea as to what this assignment is all about. Now pickup your camera and start shooting and come back here a few days later to see what i have learned and to share with me what you have learned.
